What do you mean by “puffy”?
Swelling might be caused by:
- fluid retention
- lymphodema
- an injury
- arthritis
- allergies
- high blood pressure
- prescribed medication (e.g. the pill, cortisone)
- a sign a major organ such as the kidneys, lungs or heart are struggling
