9 month semi-retired life update
Thanks for asking for more!
As someone who was been self-employed for decades running my own naturopathic practice, transition out of clinic has been different to the usual retirement route that most people experience. I’ve been documenting the ‘journey’ of my post-practitioner life, through semi-retirment.
I still love mentoring health professionals (more about who, how and why here) and reflect on a recent issue raised by a mentee.
…and ponder on the concept of if there’s ever a ‘normal’ or typical time in our lives.
Need help navigating transitions?
It’s been a pleasure helping many practitioners transition from practice over the last 28 years. Whether it’s changing direction or planning for retirement, clinicians tend to walk a different path. This process has evolvedover the decades, from selling bricks and mortar clientele to creating digital intellectual property. Every journey is different but the key to a fulfilling transition is to be in charge of the process and plan a decent lead time.
Don’t walk this path alone. Read more about mentoring or get in touch to book a session.
