July mentoring update
Hot on the heels of June’s super successful practitioner intensive in Bali, I took a few days for time out in a quiet village to work on my own business. It was the perfect mini-retreat I needed, to work on my business (not just everyone elses!)
Consequently, it’s been a huge month of getting stuff done for Gill Stannard Mentor!
The joy of completion
Some of the projects I’ve completed this month include:
• Updated my client service agreements: I completed Michelle-the-wonder-lawyer-to-the- naturopathic-community’s “DIY Legals” pack. She provides an affordable and straight-forward template that is easy to follow, and includes a group check in session to help you complete it.
• Delivered my fourth Health Masters Live webinar, this one was on a subject that’s dear to my heart – how to take consults online. It was a ripper of a session, and HML has just shared with me a discount code, for 50 % off. When you use this link and buy two or more webinars, add the coupon code Gill50 at discount to get the webinars at half price.
• Completed quarterly accounts and submitted my BAS: it helps to be curious about the financial health of your business and as much as I grumble about doing my GST statements each quarter – I love the reality check of knowing how my business is performing.
• Test drove Ariya’s liquid herbal dispensary service: so glad that I’ve finally found a way to outsource herbal prescriptions for distance clients, that I’m really happy with. They’re soon to launch a fully automated online system for liquid herb prescriptions, but in the meantime I found using their email lodgement worked fine and after the company verified her order and payment, my client received the herbs within a day or two.
I also attended a compassionate (non-violent) communication course, worked with a bunch of amazing mentees and naturopathic clients, and created a new mentoring resource section on my website!
Take a look at my newly expanded “Learn” page, under the Mentoring tab. It includes all these links, mentoring articles and more. Feel free to share with colleagues who you know would find this resource useful.
Stay tuned
I have another couple of passion projects in the pipeline that I look forward to sharing with you soon.
In the meantime, let’s kick arse together in a 1:1 mentoring session. I’ve created some new techniques to get to the bottom of procrastination, along with all my usual business mentoring and clinical supervision skills to help you create a way of working that you love.
