Soup for every week of winter
Is there anything better than a steaming bowl of soup on a winter day?
If you’ve got stuck in a rut with your winter cooking and need more ideas, here are twelve original soup recipes from the archives. That’s a different soup for every week of the season.
All the recipes are vegan (v) and most are gluten-free (gf). However if you’re craving animal protein, you can easily add a lamb shank to the barley or bean, chicken in the chard and chickpea or some white fish to the miso or healing soups.
For other protein-rich options, that make a handy one bowl meal, try the soups containing barley, quinoa, beans or lentils.
