March update
“It feels like November already,” a friend recently declared. I had to agree, despite the year being in it’s infancy, overwhelm has begun to creep in.
Last month the combination of my regular medical check-up and launching new work projects left me feeling like there was too much on my plate. Then I remembered that I have a bundle of ways of dealing with that old familiar feeling.
You don’t need to be a cancer ‘survivor’ to feel like you have too much to deal with. For many people work, parenting, studying or just our over-stimulated way of living is enough to trigger moments of overwhelm. In my March newsletter I shared ten tried and tested techniques that help get me through these times. Try them for yourself the next time you feel overwhelmed.
Earlier in the month I had a couple of days with clients in Melbourne. It’s a delight to see both old and new clients face to face, in a relaxed environment. I caught the last of the summer weather, waking early on a 30c morning to watch the sunrise over the Yarra. It was magical to be truly in the moment, watching the rich colours unfold on the horizon.
If you’d like to see me in person on my next visit, please let me know.
