February update
How are you?
That’s the question I get asked a lot these days. It’s not the typical Australian salutation, which can be used interchangeably with hello. Now it’s asked with deep interest and a pause to wait for the answer. I’m delighted to say, “I’m really well, thanks for asking”. If you want to see for yourself, come and watch the new Health Q & A Monday videos.
I miss radio. Doing my talkback spot Health Trip, which ran on 3RRR for almost 20 years, was so much fun. I enjoyed the challenge of having anything and everything health-wise thrown at me to answer. Health Q & A gives you another opportunity to ask me your curliest question. I answer one question each Monday. Pop on down and take a look.
One of the hottest topics in medical research currently is the relationship between the state of your gut and the rest of your body – from depression to peanut allergies. So this month I look beyond the headlines and share the secrets to having a healthy digestive system.
To celebrate a healthy gut, February’s recipe is for Korea’s number one natural probiotic – kimchi. I’m addicted to this easy to make, fermented vegetable dish. What about you?
In other news, I’m pleased to roll out a project that I’ve had in the wings for a while. My first online program is a professional support group for new and emerging naturopaths. The February group is full but if you’re interested I’m still available for 1:1 professional supervision.
I hope you have a great February. Don’t forget you can drop me a line if you’ve got a question or just want to say hello.
In good health,
Gill
