“My mother has been diagnosed with osteopaenia and the GP has told her to have more dairy for her bones. Do you agree?”

Large studies that prove dairy doesn’t prevent osteoporosis (some suggest may even worsen it)
BMJ: High milk intake was associated with higher mortality and higher fracture incidence.
Milk, dietary calcium, and bone fractures in women: a 12 year study of over 77,000 women.
Increased risk of fractures when drink more than 2 units of alcohol a day.
Smoking increases fracture risk.
