August update
When it comes to rest, I’m good at taking my own advice having just returned from a family holiday along the Adriatic and Aegean seas. The trip was in celebration of my father’s upcoming 90th birthday and we all enjoyed the time together, as well as the balmy weather. I hope I’m still an intrepid traveller at his age.
While away I observed the sun rising and setting most days, which always seem even more spectacular over water. It got me thinking about the rhythms in our lives and finding the most harmonious ways to work with them. We can’t always change the ebb and flow of our lives but we can predict and prepare for them. If the final months of the year tend to become increasingly hectic, now’s the time to put health-protective habits into place to make the busy season easier.
After travelling I tend to crave simple meals with lots of vegetables. With the early spring-like weather returning to Sydney, I’ve created a great trans-seasonal bean salad that you might like to try (and if you’re into “detox” food, this certainly ticks all the boxes).
Thanks to those Melbourne readers and clients who’ve registered their interest in a face-to-face session in the city on my next visit. These consultations have been immensely popular and always sell out. Let me know right away if you’d like to be added to the list.
Of course, you don’t need to be in Melbourne or Sydney to work with me. We can work together from anywhere in the world with an internet or phone connection.
I hope the final weeks of winter/summer find you in good health.
