Herbal tea blends available
I love a pot of herbal tea, choosing different herbs depending on my mood and the time of year. Some blends are chosen for their medicinal qualities, such as to help relax, ease digestive discomfort or encourage healthy skin.
Just because it’s good for you, it doesn’t have to taste bad
When using herbs medicinally it’s important to choose organically grown plants from a reliable source. The herbs also need to be dried and stored well. Avoid any brown dusty offerings that can be found on some pharmacies and healthfood store shelves. Well prepared dried herbs should maintain their characteristic colour and aromas. They should taste vibrant and be pleasant to drink.
Knowing the right tea for your condition
When using herbs in any form to treat health issues, it’s best to consult an experienced herbalist. Even some common teas, such a licorice, are contraindicated with some conditions. If you’re not a current client, please advise of any medication or underlying health conditions (such as high blood pressure) at the time of ordering.
