What, where and when
This unique five day retreat is for health practitioners, in clinical practice. It is being held on Sunday 28 May – Friday 2 June 2017, at the beautiful Swasti eco cottages on the outskirts of Ubud.
Swasti means ‘healing’ in Sanskrit, so we can’t think of a more perfect place to take care of our inner healer. They grow their own organic vegetables and take pride in creating tasty, healthy meals.
You will stay in cottages or traditional-style rooms, surrounded by gardens, in an eco-friendly environment.
Once you arrive at the retreat, you’re welcome to stay cocooned at Swasti and enjoy the tranquillity. Your meals, accommodation and the workshops are all included. We’re also including a free massage, as well as a movement and meditation class before breakfast each day for those who like to start the day mindfully.
The main workshops will run in the mornings. After lunch you’ll have plenty of time to relax, enjoy the pool, have a massage, snooze or dream. Do whatever you need to nourish yourself. For those who need more stimulation, Ubud is a 20 to 40 minutes’ walk or a short drive away.
Later in the afternoon we come together again, for a short session before dinner.
We encourage you to make the most of this unique experience and use the time outside of sessions for self-care, reflection and relaxation.
Please plan your flights to allow at least two and a half hours to clear customs and travel to the retreat, so that you can check in no later than 3.30 pm on Sunday 4th June. We provide free transfers to and from the airport for those arriving on 28th May and leaving on the final day.
What’s included in the price?

- Insurance (travel, health and event cancellation insurance is highly recommended).
- Transport to venue when participants don’t come directly from airport on the first day of the retreat, arriving earlier than 28 May or departing after 2 June.
- Sundry expenses such as extra massages and treatments, alcohol, external activities.
Retreat participants commitment
By paying your non-refundable deposit for the retreat, participants commit to:
- Arriving at the retreat no later than 3.30 pm on 28 May.
- Participating in daily workshop and reflection sessions.
- Taking care of their own personal health needs.
- Respecting confidentiality.
- Observing copyright of the presenter’s materials.
CPE points and tax deductions
Depending on your professional association, our business development and mentoring content is applicable for continuing professional education.
The retreat, associated travel, insurance and some other expenses are tax deductible when you own your business. Please consult your accountant for further details.
Your total cost for the retreat varies, depending on the type or room you choose, and whether you want to go solo or share.
All cottages are private and unique, made from recycled wood, in a gorgeous garden setting. They include bathroom, wifi and safety box. Deluxe cottages have air conditioning and the regular cottages are cooled with a fan. Cottages have a private terrace and direct access to the extensive garden and pool. They can sleep 1 – 3 people (1 x double 2 x single beds).
Deluxe rooms include a double bed, bathroom, eco-friendly air conditioning, safety box and wifi. All bedrooms are unique in their shape, views and design, and each room has their own private terrace.
If attending alone and wish to share a cottage, we will do our best to match you with another participant but this cannot be guaranteed. If a share opportunity is unavailable, you will need to pay for a single room.
As accommodation is strictly limited you may not get your first choice, as they will be allocated in the order that applicants pay in full. Non-participants cannot share cottages or rooms; the accommodation and retreat is only for practitioners that have been accepted for the event.
