Personally, I’m not a fan of the ‘pretend meat’ products. Why eat something that looks like a piece of bacon that is highly processed, over a fresh, healthy legume or wholegrain dish?
Check out the Gillian McKeith “You are what you eat cookbook” for some great wholefoods recipes. This book is only 90% vego, but healthier, easier and more delicious than many of the standard vegetarian recipe books.
